This Unrelenting Skin is an English-language interactive horror experience. Together, the artist and a participant play out the story for an intimate audience. The participant plays Henry – a man looking for romantic connection with other men, but whose own fears and anxieties constantly hold him back. Henry undergoes a bodily transformation that brings him in direct conflict with his own desires. Searching for solace in a small club bathroom, Henry finds that he is perhaps not as alone as he thinks. By utilizing the horror genre, inspired by transformative play and LARP, Ezra invites his audience to find the beauty in being different and to come in contact with their own desires, even if it feels scary.
Time: 30 minutes. Maximum 1 participant per timeslot, 4 limited spots for audience members.
All genders are welcome to participate.
Disclaimer: Anyone aged 18+ can participate, as long as you are comfortable with roleplaying (improv) in English in front of an audience, touching on the arms and shoulders, and mild horror elements in the performance.
