It is very important to us that we create a safe environment for all visitors of our festival. Our core value is to create a place where everyone feels safe, accepted and respected and has the ability to show their true colours of the rainbow. Racism, sexism, ableism, body shaming, homophobia and transphobia are not tolerated; neither is (sexual) harassment and violence.

Queer Film Festival Utrecht is a space where we can enjoy beautiful queer artists and makers, but we also want to make sure that people who attend QFFU can be their most authentic beautiful selves. All the events of QFFU are intentional spaces, which means that we try to create a safe space where there is zerotolerance against any form of discrimination. If you are not part of the LGBTQI+ -community, we expect you to be particularly mindful of the space you are entering and the people around you.

If you feel unsafe or have any questions or feedback, please reach out to one of our volunteers on site or feel welcome to email us at info@qffu.nl.
Lastly, we would like to ask you to be responsible and take care of each other.
