The Man with the Answers

Victor woont bij zijn oma in zijn Griekenland. Hij is een ex-duikkampioen en heeft amper nog contact met zijn moeder die in Duitsland woont en CD’s met Duitse lessen stuurt in de hoop dat hij een woordje Duits leert. Als Victors oma overlijdt stapt hij in een auto richting zijn moeder. Op de veerboot ontmoet hij Matthias die probeert Victor over te halen wat avontuurlijker te zijn. In eerste instantie probeert Victor hem af te wimpelen, maar besluit hem dan toch een lift te geven. Dat loopt uit op een verrassende roadtrip door het berglandschap van Italië. Beide mannen gaan onderweg op zoek naar antwoorden. De vraag is of ze die op de plek vinden waar ze ze verwachten.

Victor lives with his grandmother in Greece. He is an ex diving champion and he rarely speaks with his mother. She lives in Germany and sends him CD’s with lessons to learn a little bit German. When Victor’s grandma passes away he gets in a car and takes off towards his mother. On the pond he meets Matthias who tries to get Victor to become a little more adventurous. At first Victor tries to ignore Matthias, but then he decides to give him a lift. Their road trip through the Italian mountainside leads to some beautiful surprises. Both men are looking for answers on the way. The question is if they will find them at the place they expect them to be.
