Love spells and al that

As teenagers, Eren and Reyhan had a forbidden love affair. When their secret relationship became public, Eren’s family forced the two of them to separate, sending Reyhan off the island and Eren to a boarding school in Europe. Twenty years later, Eren is back on the island for the first time and goes looking for Reyan. Reyan returned to the island a couple of  years before and, by now, lives with a man. However, she tells Eren that she has never loved anyone else in all these years  and that she is still in love with her. Eren is initially shocked and reluctant. Their former relationship was hard enough and left its traces, but after a bit of persuasion she agrees on spending the day together. The old tension between them has to be resolved before a future together can be considered at all.

This afternoon is dedicated to bicultural queer people. Following the film screening, there will be a panel discussion with Stichting Prisma Groep, Cocktail and Abu Nawas Film Festival.
